Automatic Gate Installation & Repair Across South Florida
South Florida is hard on gates — which is exactly where a properly built one earns its keep. Salt air within miles of the ocean, daily summer storms, hurricane-season wind, and more lightning strikes than any other state all work against motors, sensors, and wiring. The properties run just as wide: barrier-island homes in Miami Beach, canal-front communities in Fort Lauderdale, equestrian acreage in Wellington and Loxahatchee, and dense suburban driveways in Kendall, Davie, and Boca Raton. Miami-Dade and Broward sit inside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone, where the building code shapes everything from post footings to product approvals; Palm Beach County follows the same Florida Building Code with its own local enforcement. We build for all of it.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT GATE
A level driveway with room to swing takes a swing gate — the cleanest look and the simplest mechanism. Driveways that slope toward the street or stop short of the sidewalk take a sliding or cantilever gate that runs parallel to the fence line and never swings into traffic. Tight barrier-island lots in Miami Beach often need a telescopic gate that folds back into itself, while long ranch drives in Davie and Loxahatchee call for heavier hardware that handles distance and daily use. Aluminum and stainless hold up best within reach of the ocean; wood and powder-coated steel suit inland properties. We measure grade and clearance at the free estimate and size the operator to the gate's real weight.
PERMITS AND PAPERWORK
South Florida permitting is stricter than almost anywhere else in the country. In Miami-Dade and Broward, gate structures and operators must meet Florida Building Code wind requirements for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone, and installed products typically need a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance. Electrical work for the operator carries its own permit and inspection, and most HOAs add a second layer of architectural approval. Palm Beach County enforces the same code locally. We prepare the plans, pull the permits, coordinate the inspections, and handle HOA submittals when your community requires them — it's part of the project, not homework for you.
FOR BUSINESSES AND HOAS
Community associations, condo buildings, and commercial properties from Miami to West Palm Beach run on our access-control installs: keypads and fob readers for residents, card readers for staff, telephone entry and video intercoms at the front gate, and software that logs who comes and goes. Warehouse yards and contractor lots use the same readers on vehicle gates with remote release for deliveries. Emergency-vehicle access is planned in from day one — fire and EMS need to get through a community gate without waiting on a keypad. Everything is programmed on site and handed over with training.
REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Storm season finds every weak point: water in operator housings, salt corrosion on terminals, sensors knocked out of alignment, and motors working against wind-loaded panels. We repair all major brands with same-week scheduling and 24/7 emergency service across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties — dead motors, boards failed after a lightning storm (Florida leads the country in strikes), keypad and intercom faults, and physical damage after a hurricane
